Went back to Cleveland for the Labor Day weekend. The highlight of course was the concert in Cuyahoga Falls on Saturday night.

Southside said that he never played Cuyahoga Falls before, of course he probably has no idea what city Blossom is in. He played many a sell-outs at Blossom.

My wife and I dragged my 8 year old son and twin 5 year old girls. Yes, that was my daughter Hannah in the purple sweatshirt on my shoulders in front of Bobby during the last 45 minutes of the show. She had a great time.

I also brought along my sister and 13 year old niece. I had to my niece that there is more to music that the crap that 13-year-olds listen to. She had a great time, especially when we were near the front of the stage. I also brought along my other sister Renee, brother-in-law, and another niece. Needless to say, she was thrilled when Southside played Walk Away Renee.

In addition two friends came along with us and their two children. Total count was 14 people that came with us to the show.

It was so cool when they came out for their second encore, but when they came for their last encore to do, I Don't Want to go Home - that was amazing.

My only complaint, is cut the covers out (Bad Co). Maybe Southside thought he needed to do that since it was a free concert. There is enough Jukes music in the catalogue, that covers are not needed.

All-in-all, a great night. Southside never disappoints. Of course it was my 40-50 show, I have lost count a long time ago.

Now, lets get Southside playing New Orleans Jazz Fest next year. I prefer the second weekend since that is the weekend we have planned.
